Basic Features

5 Favourite Numbers

$15/$20 per month

The Favourite Numbers add-on features will provide you with unlimited talk and text¹ to any five numbers on any network in Canada!

¹ Includes text messages only. Picture, video and sound messages are not included. Unlimited text messaging is only available to other mobile phone numbers.

Airtime Summary Notification

$3 per month

When you subscribe to Airtime Summary Notification*, you will be notified of how many minutes you have left on a weekly basis. A text message will be sent to your phone detailing how many minutes you have used and how many are remaining for that month.

Additional costs: 0 - 15 cents per message depending on your rate plan.

* This feature is only available in digital areas for text message capable phones. Airtime Summary Notification is not available to clients on Family Talk or Add-a-line plans, or to clients located in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward island and Saskatchewan.

Call Display

$8 per month

Call Display displays the number of incoming calls when you're in a digital service area. It allows you to prioritize incoming calls so you don't miss the most important ones and minimize unnecessary interruptions. Because Call Display works in conjunction with Call Waiting, you can see who is calling you before you decide to interrupt the first call you're on.

Call Forwarding

$3 per month

Call Forwarding allows you to redirect all incoming calls to another phone number. When Call Forwarding is switched on, your phone won't ring and all incoming calls will be directed to the number you specified when you switched on the feature.

Call Forwarding means you can avoid giving people lists of numbers where they can reach you. If you're going to be outside our service area, you can forward your calls to a number where you're staying.

Additional costs: Additional minutes (above 3000) cost 25 cents each. Long distance is applicable if calls are forwarded to an area outside of your local calling area

Call Waiting

included

Call Waiting helps you avoid missing important callers when you're on another call by alerting you when another call comes through. You can either accept the second incoming call or let it to go straight to voice mail. Either way, you never need to miss a call with TELUS Mobility PCS.

Call Waiting works with Caller ID so you can see who's calling you before you decide to interrupt your first call.

Included with most plans.

Additional costs: Applicable air time is charged for each call that is in progress. For example, if you are on a call, and you put your first call on hold to answer the second, both calls are rated separately. Long distance is applicable if call waiting calls are accepted while outside of your local calling area.

Conference Calling

included

Ever have problems trying to relay messages back and forth between two people when it would be much easier to have everyone on the line at the same time? Conference Calling is the solution. It allows you to have a conversation with two different people at the same time avoiding confusion and helping you to use your time more efficiently.

Included with most rate plans.

Additional costs: Applicable air time is charged for each call that is in progress. For example, if a Conference Call is in progress with the user and two callers on line, each of the two calls are rated separately. Long distance is applicable if calls waiting calls are accepted or made to an area outside of your local calling area.

Detailed Billing

$3 per month

Detailed billing  provides clients with a detailed review of all call activity, including a list of phone calls made, the date and time of the calls, and the number of airtime minutes used for each call. It's great for viewing and tracking your mobile phone usage every month.

* If you don't subscribe to detailed billing, you will continue to receive your invoice summary by mail. Clients can also access free detailed billing through e.bill, online at mytelusmobility.com.

Device Protection Plan

$7 per month

The Device Protection Plan service, administered by Asurion, a trusted leader in technology protection, gives you peace of mind for only a few dollars a month. If your device is lost, stolen or sustains some types of damages not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, you’ll receive a comparable replacement model, typically 1 - 2 business days. In Quebec and Newfoundland, service requests for lost & stolen devices are not included in the Device Protection Program.

Note: Conditions apply.
When a service request is approved, there will be a replacement service fee of $40, $80 or $150 depending of device model involved in the incident.

Do not disturb

included

When you activate Do Not Disturb, your phone won't ring, and all incoming calls are directed to your voice mail.

Do Not Disturb is ideal for those times when you don't want your phone to ring, but you still want to receive notifications when you receive voice mail or text, picture, and video messages.

To Activate: Dial*78. Press SEND (keys can vary according to handset). You will hear prompt informing you that Do Not Disturb has been activated.

To Deactivate: Dial *79. Press SEND. You will hear prompt informing you that Do Not Disturb has been deactivated.

Nights & Weekends

$7/$9 per month

The Nights & Weekend calling feature gives you unlimited local calling (during specified hours) to ensure you run out of things to say before you run out of minutes.

Roadside Assistance

$4 per month

Do you ever worry about getting stranded with a flat tire or running out of fuel on the way home? Sign up for Roadside Assistance, brought to you by Asurion, and give yourself some peace of mind. With Roadside Assistance, no matter what happens to slow you down, we'll be there to help get you back on your way.

Roadside Assistance is unique because it goes with your TELUS Mobility phone so you can get help for almost any vehicle you're in. It gives you the security you need while you're on the go, whether you're travelling in Canada or the U.S. 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

What you get

  • Help for almost any vehicle you're travelling in
  • Spare tire installation - if your tire is flat, we'll put on your spare or provide a tow
  • Battery boost - we'll jumpstart your battery if it's dead
  • Emergency gas delivery - if your vehicle has run out of fuel, we'll give you up to 12 litres of gasoline or diesel
  • Lock-out service - if you're locked out of your vehicle, we'll get you unlocked and provide you with a new key if yours is lost or stolen
  • Towing - if your vehicle needs towing, we'll tow you to a local destination of your choice
  • Winching - if your vehicle needs winching, we'll pull it out from the snow, from the mud or from a ditch
The service, billed right to your TELUS Mobility invoice, is available for all clients with a TELUS Mobility PCS phone activated on a monthly service plan.

Note: Roadside Assistance can also be added to a Pay & Talk account with sufficient funds for $40 a year (as it includes 2 free months for the first year).

Telus Mobile Backup

$2 per month | $10 for one-time transfer

TELUS mobile backup is a simple and effective way to secure your device contacts. It allows you to synchronize your contacts to a remote online location.

With a monthly subscription, back-ups can be done automatically or manually right from your phone. In case of a lost or stolen phone, you can remotely lock your phone’s contact list so your valued contacts stay private and safe. You can also browse, edit, and print your contacts online.

Mobile backup can also help you transfer your contact list during a handset upgrade. A one-time purchase allows you to transfer your contact list from your old phone, secure it in an online location, and restore your contact list onto your new phone.

Vacation Disconnect

$8.50 per month

Take a break from your wireless phone service from one to six months, and we'll save your number, prevent unauthorized calling and maintain your account. If you're on a contract, you can still suspend your service, but your term will be extended for the length of your suspension when you reactivate.

Note: Must be a TELUS Mobility client for at least six months.

TELUS Voicemail to Text

$7.50 per month OR 50¢ per message

TELUS Voicemail to Text converts your voice mail messages to text and delivers them straight to you as SMS or email within minutes. The converted message will include the phone number of the caller embedded in the text. There’s no need to dial in to pick up your messages, you just read them on screen or listen to the attached wave file. You can view all of your messages in one convenient inbox and have a visual record of who called and what they said.

Voice Mail 10

$5 per month

Voice Mail 10 ensures that you never miss a call and you can pick up your messages from your PCS or wireline phone from anywhere in the world.

Additional costs: Airtime charges apply when calling into Voice Mail from your PCS phone. When calling into Voice Mail from your PCS phone, from outside of the digital service area, long distance rates may apply.

Voice mail notification

When you receive new voice mails, an SMS notification will be sent to your wireless phone as long as you're in a digital coverage area. If you're in an analog area, you will be able to dial into your mailbox and retrieve new messages, but you won't receive visual notification of a new message until you enter a digital area.

Voice Mail 25

$8 per month

Voice Mail 25 turns basic voice mail into a powerful message centre that can reply to voice mail and even broadcast voice mail messages to group distribution lists.

Pager notification* is now included with Voice Mail 25 at no extra charge. Your PCS Voice Mail can automatically page you when you receive a new Voice Mail.

Additional costs: Airtime charges apply when calling into Voice Mail from your PCS phone. When calling into Voice Mail from your PCS phone, from outside of the digital service area, long distance rates may apply.

Not available with TELUS Mobility's Pay & Talk service plan.
